The worlds first Pan-African comic anthology.
Last week we mentioned that for our next stretch goal we plan on adapting one of the comics featured in the anthology into a motion comic. We've already shown you a motion comic preview of the Raki Edition and now here a preview of the Regular Edition.
We've just hit another stretch goal! This means that most of you will now be receiving a 40 page digital art book that includes sketches, concept art and character designs from all of the stories featured in the anthology. What's more, because we've hit our 2nd stretch goal we can now expand both anthologies to include 10 pages from the art book.
With just over two weeks left there's no reason why we cant crush another one or two stretch goals. Next we plan on adapting one of the comics featured in the anthology into a motion comic. We still haven't decided which comic we're going to adapt but feel free to let us know which one you'd most like to see as a motion comic. Friends we've smashed our 1st stretch goal in 24 hours meaning that we've unlocked the digital art book containing sketches, concept art and wips from all the stories featured in both editions of the Magazine. Now we have our sights set on the next stretch goal where we plan on upgrading both versions of the Anthology to include 10 pages from the art book and we're nearly there!
Now you guys know Kugali is all about telling stories which usually don't see the light of day and we recently came across a really awesome campaig doing exactly just that. The Tale of Taria is a fictional adaptation of the Genpei War, the conflict that ended an era of peace and changed the course of the Japan's history. We'll be doing a livestream with Ben and Dan (the creators) to discuss the art of maiking comics. We'll post a link soon to give more info :)
